Today, we proudly announce the launch of the brand new Ieperfest bandcamp page (http://ieperfest.bandcamp.com). You can also check it via our official Facebook page. About 14 songs of bands playing Ieperfest 2013 have been uploaded so far. More songs will be added in future, so keep checking the page regularly.

Since Wednesday, full-priced weekend tickets and single-day tickets have been for sale in our online ticketshop, Free Record Shop, Facebook and Morethanmusic.be ticketshop. Presale’s been going really well and it seems like Ieperfest 2013 will be record breaking once again.

Today, we are adding 6 acts to the Ieperfest line-up, bringing it to a total of 55 confirmed bands so far. 9 more will be confirmed and announced within the next few weeks. A day-to-day schedule will be posted as soon as possible.

• CATHARSIS (US) // Legendary anarchist metalcore punk straight out of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. CATHARSIS started out in 1994 and disbanded in 2002. Recently, they have been playing again in the US, and this summer Europe may welcome them for a very limited amount of shows. We are very proud that Ieperfest will be one of them.
• CLEARVIEW (BR) // No-frills, in-your-face hardcore act that has been going since 2002. For fans of TERROR and NO WARNING. Featuring members of CHILDREN OF GAIA.
• HESSIAN (BE) // One of Belgium’s many talented hardcore bands, disciples of the Church of Ra. The infamous Southern Lord label recently released their debut album.
• LOMA PRIETA (US) // Screamo band featuring (ex-)members of PUNCH, SAILBOATS, … formed in San Francisco in 2005. They self-released several efforts in the past, but signed with Deathwish Inc. for their latest LP “I.V.”! First time at Ieperfest.
• TERVEET KÄDET (FI) // Legendary Finnish hardcore punk band, often considered the DISCHARGE of Finland. The band was founded in Tornio in the early 80s. TK was often mentioned by SEPULTURA’s Max Cavalera as one of his all-time-favorites. This will be their first time ever at Ieperfest.
• WOLFxDOWN (DE) // Female fronted vegan straight-edge mosh brigade. Their debut full-length will be released this summer. The ideal moment to invite them for their first Ieperfest performance ever.

There are a few days left to get your Ieperfest weekend ticket while it’s still nice and cheap. Early bird tickets are sold online or at your local Free Record Shop and cost €74. You can also buy a weekend ticket including camping for €84. This special cheap pre-sale ends Tuesday 30 April 2013. Starting Wednesday 1 May 2013, tickets will be considerably more expensive, so don’t hesitate if you plan on coming to the festival this year!
